Jonathan Payne is a freelance artist residing in Santa Clarita, California. His sculptures and paintings focus primarily on creature and character design . He has studied under Jordu Schell (Men In Black, Edward Scissorhands, Avatar), concept sculptor Simon Lee and fine art sculptor John Brown. He prefers to sculpt in oil, polymer and WED clays. Recently he has become consumed with creating an original line of tumorous balls of flesh known as the Fleshlettes. In addition to his macabre "babies" he also enjoys composing fine art sculptures depicting both wildlife and the human form. Jonathan is available for hire as a freelance artist and for individual commissions.

Toni 3 and Richanda 2

Some nice close up detail shots of Richanda 3 and Toni 2 before they got shipped off to their new owners. I wouldn't normally be posting pictures of the same old fleshlettes but these revised sculpts and the photos of them show off so much new detail compared to the originals. I couldn't help myself.

These sculptures are astounding! I cannot believe you made them. They're so realistically disgusting. They look like they're made from silicon.

This work is really awesome. I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there any tutorials of yours that I can find on the net? I really want to see how some of your creations come to life. Anyway...great hand!!!

Thank you Speradora! I have not put together any tutorials at this time. It's something I would love to do some day. In the meantime my former teachers and friends Jordu Schell and Simon Lee both offer wonderful tutorials through stanwinstonschool.com and I can't recommend them highly enough. Check them out :)

These are strangely fascinating. Can I ask when you made these? I'm researching you & your work.
