Monsterpalooza 2013: Scheming Demon

Here is the final casting of the "Scheming Demon". Originally this included a pair of hands but they just didn't work out correctly with the timing of the show. There is something refreshingly clean about the torso-only version presented here. Originally sculpted in Chavant NSP Medium.

Monsterpalooza 2013: Witch's Hand

A new run of "Witch's Hand" was created for the 2013 show. Differences include an integrated base, fixing the position of the pinky finger and a better all around reproduction of the original sculpture.

Lunch Crunch - Day 1 - Migraine

This is my first crack at lunch crunch sculpting. It's kind of a cheat because while 90% of the character was finished on the first 1hr lunch. I wanted to go back and finish it the next day. There is a total of approx 2hrs put into this little character study. I had a headache while sculpting him and so that sort of bled through into his expression. I decided to call it "Migraine". Approx 5.5" ta
ll in WED clay.

Pugnacious Squint - final

After looking closer at the original pugnacious sculpture posted I realized he needed a thicker neck and broader shoulders/chest etc. to appropriately fit his superhuman proportions. So he got finished, baked and sealed.

These are the first three Fleshlettes. They are a family. From left to right you have Gisele, Tina and finally our newest addition, Elaine. You'll notice in the detail that Elaine is suffering from a dry skin problem and will likely need to start using a good moisturizer.
